Hi you!

This chaotic perfectionist listens to the name Sanne, is 23 years old and has ADHD. I live in the Netherlands in a small town called Lieshout, together with my mother, my little brother and our dog Kadyme. I also have the sweetest boyfriend of all. He listens to the name Stefan. We’ve been together for more than 6 years now (still waiting for that ring tho). Yes, he does go crazy sometimes with an ADHDer by his side. Do we still like each other a lot? I think so.

I am currently studying Business Administration at Avans University of Applied Sciences in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Do I know what I want to do after? Absolutely not. Let’s just say that’s a problem for another time.

Writing and photography are two great passions of mine. They allow me to show the world very differently through a pen or through a lens. That way, I can also show others what I see. Because of my ADHD, it can be hard and difficult sometimes to see what I see as someone with ADHD. To understand me and my ADHD.

Why I started writing

Even though writing stories and stuff is a great passion of mine, it took me a while before I wanted to share this passion with the rest of the world. Over the past year, I’ve thought a lot about it. I thought it was time, time to bring ADHD to the attention. To share my own experiences with ADHD. There is (almost) no mention of ADHD at all! We, people with ADHD, do not get the attention we deserve. I believe we need to be honest about it, talk about it, it really is necessary! ADHDers make the world a bit more beautiful, even though we are sometimes chaotic and hard to understand!
